August 2021.Hello Awesome 1st Graders!
I hope you have had a nice, relaxing, and eventful summer! School looked quite different the end of last year, but I am excited to go back and see my new classroom! As we move into the 2020-2021 school year, we will be juggling many areas and jumping through many hoops. However, I am confident it will be successful with your help. Remember the following as you return to school each day... 1- We will be starting the school year in person, but be prepared to jump online at any point due to quarantine. 2- Remember to bring your mask. Masks will be worn by teachers, students, and all Altara staff. 4- Please keep personal items, toys, and electronics at home. 5- Volunteering will be very limited this year, but I will request volunteers as needed - especially if it is a task that can be done at home (and if they are approved by the principal). 6- Make sure to read at least 15-20 minutes each night! Remember, as we begin something new, we just take a deep breath, try not to be stressed, and even take a break! Any questions?
